Stitching in the Park - Visible Mending

We will learn how to embellish or patch your garments, bags or quilts with the time honoured practice of decorative visible mending - bring along a piece you would like to work on or use the fabric provided in your Stitching Kit. You will learn the beginning stitches & techniques which can lead to more complex repairwork and future creative projects!

Includes your own Stitching Kit with all the supplies you’ll need for this workshop - that you get to keep

What to Bring: a lawn chair and a water bottle or coffee

we will find a spot with some shade & rain date will be rescheduled if necessary

The goal of this series is to have a fun, social in the community park with a group of sewists to learn and practice some useful, basic hand stitching skills!
