Learn to Use Your Sewing Machine - October 24th afternoon

For the beginner sewist or those who want to rekindle their machine knowledge - this workshop is for you.

You will develop these important skills: machine operation and general knowledge (what is tension anyways?), threading, bobbin replacement, stitch regulation, general care and maintenance. And while making a lovely t towel you will also learn about cutting fabric, basic machine stitches and finishing a sewn project.

You will go home with a glossary of terms and descriptions for your future sewing projects and a pretty tea towel!

Taught by Kristiann Boos; designer, pattern maker, sewing instructor and author. Kris is the founder & desinger for the Victory Pattern Company and has published Boundless Style - a book of patterns.  Kris has taught in Canada and the US.
