A homespun twist on Robert Kaufman's best selling Essex Linen.  A lightweight linen/cotton blend that is sturdier than quilting cottons but softer than a light upholstery fabrication.  Beautiful drape with a soft, woven hand.  Beautiful for garments, pillows, kitchen linens and of course cozy quilts.

From Robert Kaufman Fabrics, this lightweight (5.6 oz. per square yard) linen blend fabric has a luxurious hand with a full-bodied drape. The yarn dyed fibers create a tiny and subtle checkered pattern which disappears into a solid from far away. With a rustic look, and smooth feel, this linen is perfect for spring and summer garments like dresses, lightweight pants, and skirts. Colors include cross threads of cream and khaki for a beige overall appearance.
