Liberty Tana Lawn Strawberry Thief

First printed by William Morris in 1883, Strawberry Thief was part of a group of designs incorporating animals with flowers. Introduced as a furnishing fabric for Liberty in 1979, it depicts birds stealing fruit within Morris’s Oxfordshire garden

This is a cotton that behaves like silk – ultra-fine, with a fluid hand-feel, soft drape and intense depth of colour that is truly unmatchable. Tana Lawn cotton is soft yet durable, cooling yet warming, and even machine washable.

Perfect for sewing blouses, shirts and skirts. But these fabrics also work beautifully for quilting - making that special quilt project, well, extra special.

The classic Liberty prints are instantly recognizable for their scale, classic floral designs and the stunning colours.  We have only brought in 8 designs; so get them while you can.
