Each month a new Thread Box is featured consisting of 3 gorgeous spools of 50wt Aurifil Cotton Thread - 2 Variegated Colours and one coordinating Solid Colour.
This is the perfect way to build your stash of amazing thread in a great selection of colours (they also make great gifts along the way!)
You will also receive a free Quilt Block Pattern each month that coordinates with the thread colour of that month. Each quilt block features a beautiful Rainforest Flower and each block can stand alone on it's own or can be pieced together to make a unique quilt top.

This capsule of 12 mini-collections has been created in celebration of Aurifil’s variegated thread. Aurifil produces 36 variegated thread colors; threads that contain multiple colors or multiple shades of one color. Twenty-four of these shades are represented in the 2022 program. Each set contains 3 large spools of 50wt — 2 variegated and 1 complementary solid.

This year we’ve drawn our colour inspiration from 12 breathtaking rainforest plants from the Amazon Water Lily and the Bird of Paradise to the Jade Vine and the Spider Lily. These plants are a representation of our earth’s most threatened tropical forests, largely affected by deforestation and climate change. For 2022, Aurifil has partnered with Rainforest Trust, an organization dedicated to the long-term protection of these forests. 

Rainforest Trust purchases and protects the most threatened tropical forests, saving endangered wildlife through partnerships and community engagement. Every action we take now to protect rainforest will have a lasting impact on the future by maintaining our planet’s critical ecosystems.

This is the first Thread Box of a 12 month Thread Builder Program - in which each month you will be notified when your new Thread Box has arrived and is ready to either be shipped to you or prepared for Shop Pick Up. You will only pay your 45.95 at the time of shipment - there is no automatic charge and no deposit necessary.

January's Thread Builder is about the beautiful neutral, peaceful shades of 2800 Mint Ice, 4060 Variegated Silver Moon and 4670 Variegated Silver Fox inspired by the pretty Plumeria Pudica flower
